Taught a session yesterday for the Sociedade Catarinense de Radiologia. MRI is reshaping the benefit–harm balance in PCa screening. • ERSPC: mortality ↓20–30% • Göteborg-2: GG1 ↓54%, =~csPCa • STHLM3-MRI: biopsies ↓, csPCa ↑44% PSA → MRI remains the mature pathway.

A great weekend at the #WFT25, organized by CBR with ESUR, SAR, CIR, and ACR. Thanks to all speakers and to my colleagues of organizing committee. I had the pleasure of moderating the 4th panel, “Current and Future Trends,” with Andrei, Ronaldo, Maurício, and Fiona.

For local staging of bladder tumour, MRI has superior soft tissue contrast resolution compared with CT and can evaluate post-biopsy reaction as enhancement of the tumour occurs earlier than that of the normal bladder wall due to neovascularisation. #BladderCancer #EAUguidelines
