My cat had an outstandingly bad day today. He ran outside twice in the rain, he broke a giant glass candy jar, he stole a chicken nugget out of my hand, and he tackled his sister and they rolled down the stairs. But now he’s sleeping like an angel 🙄 He is so lucky I love him

People brag “I’m not watching anymore etc” like it’s some badge of honor or they are cooler than everyone. I promise you , you or me or whoever not watching isn’t changing shit.
Don’t watch, that’s your right. You can do what ever you want.
But certainly don’t come back if/when they start winning again.
Like one of my best friends said he “wasn’t watching the Ravens till Harbs got fired and the O’s until Hyde got fired” and he’s on our sports thread saying “see, that’s why I don’t watch” like we are supposed to pat him on the back.

@mromanell I just don’t see it as asking for a pat on the back, I think it’s more expressing how frustrated/exasperated they are with this team, which is valid. I’m not going to sit here and pretend it’s fun to watch this team. The team isn’t even pretending to have fun

Especially because it’s on when he goes out and every bar you go to it’s on, so they do watch or at least follow it.
I’ll never get to that level. I had a 13 game plan since like 08 and has several seasons sitting hungover in 95 degree weather watching 100 loss team. But I don’t need a pat on the back for that.
