It would neat for Ross to sneak into the tournament in year one, but this is easily the most sauceless WVU roster I’ve seen in years. Actually amazing they’ve won 18 games.

For better or worse, this is a major inflection point for both the university and athletics are large. WVU sports plays an enormous role in the health of the Morgantown economy. It has no choice but to work.

This was objectively the worst WVU defense of all time. Dana was regularly going for it in this game on 4th and long (and getting it) otherwise no way we win this game.

I remember a time when people were scared of the WVU defense. If we hire RR, that is the part of the ball I want fixed. We need to have a scary defense again in Morgantown. That starts with culture. We need grit back at WVU.

This is not remotely a problem for Arizona State and Iowa State, who are operating with the same (if not less) resources. The very definition of MEDIOCRE is Neal Brown. Own it.

This is a completely unacceptable mindset that many, if not all, major program fanbases would’ve already been buying pitch forks and torches to raid the university and athletic leadership offices. Embarrassing at a biblical scale we have to put up with this.

Short of this team making it to Dallas (lol), there is no way in good faith Neal and the clown car staff can still be here next year. Our fears have been confirmed. Last year was a mirage against a bunch of G5 programs and wins against teams with horrific QB play. Clear house.

Neal Brown gets the rest of the season to see if we can punch a ticket to Arlington. Very unlikely but hey who knows with the current makeup of conference. Baker handled the basketball turmoil well last year. He can navigate this as well. And for the love of god no Tony Gibson.

The official position of Morgantown Snake is that Lesley must be fired. You start there. Defense, particularly the secondary, is god awful. Does firing him put us in the best position to win conference games? No, probably not. But a head must roll.
