You know @BYDCompany also has point to point, city level navigation that uses Lidar and AI for 'self driving'?They've even secured licences for Level 3 testing on public roads. (Something @Tesla has never done.)

So let me get this straight... A new Tesla can effectively drive itself anywhere in North America (supervised), something no other company here is even CLOSE to rivaling right now... But that's not noteworthy? In fact, you regularly discredit FSD. But BYD shows... whatever THIS is, and you're suddenly in awe of how great the company is. @kendallddrummer @ingueferroque @Wario64 I got it to launch and recognize that it was a controller, but I couldn't get it to recognize any inputs correctly. The most I could do was spin in a circle.

@eightysouthwest @ingueferroque @Wario64 It's the Internet of course I'm being dramatic, I also made a typo which makes my crimes inexcusable, but yeah the puck was annoying and dealing with all the little software/firmware issues added up. I just want play my silly little games on my silly little PC.

@MorgenMason @ingueferroque @Wario64 I do think you’re being dramatic but tbf mine also got stuck updating the firmware (the 2nd update it did in the first 2 days). Puck updated fine, but the controller wouldn’t. What worked was fully closing out of steam, plugging the controller in directly, then reopening steam.

@ingueferroque @Wario64 Neverless to Everless (the main culprit) and Dune Awakening. Dune sort of worked I just had issues with it relabeling the controls in the UI and it would cover up a quarter of the screen. NTE was just non-functional no matter how much I dove into old Reddit posts for clues.

@MorgenMason @Wario64 What games? You will still need to use the software to switch profiles or set up your own, sometimes - but that’s not the software’s (Steam Input) fault.. I do realize the controller came in a little hot with some big issues needing to be patched out.

@ZleepyZed @Wario64 It's honestly been so long since I've held a PlayStation controller I couldn't tell you, I know the controller was a reason I never liked PlayStation so take that as you will. I'd say give it a shot, I ended up getting a Gamesir G7 Pro instead and it seems fine so far.

@TheNumbr24 @Noc79141130 @Wario64 Center of my thumbs on the center of the sticks, the only other controller I've had a similar issue with as far as I can recall was the old duke controller on the OG Xbox.

@ingueferroque @Wario64 So, subjectively, the software sucks. It's a controller. I plug it in and it does the thing. I'll go the extra mile and add a non Steam game to the library and run as admin and add a community overlay but if we're still fighting after all that then I'm done.
