Nothing has happened.
War in the middle east isn't new, its always happening.
Inflation isn't new, its always happening
Regime change for Israel isn't new, its always happening.
Your substack could have been written 100 times before since 2003.
Nothing will change. Immigrants will keep coming, the blob will keep supporting Israel, inflation will rise, the economy will continue to be in recession per capita but GDP will rise with AI.
Nothing ever happens.

This article is spot on. I’m too busy for a full plot this year, so I’m sticking to the essentials: potatoes, sunchokes, tomatoes, and lovage. If you’re new to growing veg, start with spuds. Just let them sprout (chit) for a week and chuck them in the dirt. Easiest win for resilience

@MorgothsReview 100%. I struggle to see a society of at-will abortions up to birth making that kind of communal sacrifice... vast changes are coming... one way or the other.

@ThreeJacques Yes but to be fair, I allude to that at the end of the article. There is no way around the fact that there'd be huge numbers of elderly people alone in the future in need of assistance.
That does not, however, mean we should replace ourselves.

I do not think there are too many to be cared for. Half the issue is that most of us have moved so far away from one another, and communities that once provided a context for support are scattered to the winds. The same processes that undermine the depersonalised ways of caring for the old would also make the organic ways of caring for them easier. Preaching to the choir, I know...

What we witnessed in London at the historic Trafalgar Square, in a country built on Judeo-Christian values, was a group of people attempting dominance over our capital city and our culture. We are not going to surrender everything that was built over centuries and defended at great cost in two world wars for us to be a free, independent nation. The British people will not put up with this any longer — simple as.

It’s a foreign policy term by people who want to put Israel first and don’t view religion as an expression of the sacred.

This is what we’ve drifted away from.
Working the land. Growing your own food. Living by the seasons, not screens.
Men who knew what they were doing. Land that fed families, not systems.
We traded it for convenience, and lost something in the process.
There’s nothing the government hates and fears more than a fit, capable and healthy white English man who relies on himself rather than the system.
Time to get back to it. 🏴
