I am super pumped to announce that @MoriaMining has been acquired by Sozo Holdings!
Sozo Holdings is the Dallas-based Private Equity group behind Strike Photonics, the next-generation photonic semiconductor company building a Photonic Semiconductor Chip Fab right here in the United States.
Moving past traditional chips, Photonic chips utilize photons (particles of light) instead of the electrons traditionally used in semiconductor chips. This provides massive, unparalleled breakthroughs in both performance and energy efficiency. These Photonic Chips will be utilized across three major industries: Defense, Biotech, and Compute.
Most importantly, every chip will be produced at the state-of-the-art Strike Photonics Fab in Dallas, Texas. Reindustrializing America and bringing the chip industry home. 🇺🇸
As part of the acquisition, Moria will be integrated into Sozo Holdings and leadership positions at Strike Photonics in an ambitious new chapter to redefine the future of computing and beyond. The future is bright, and we’re excited to be on the frontier!
