Y’all, we made it through January! It’s time for February Fun for our Morningside Mustangs! Check out the calendar for upcoming events, and watch our page for details on spirit nights and PTA programs. First up is our General Membership meeting on Monday, February 5, at 6:15.

On Monday, December 4, 2023, there will be a special meeting of the PTA to vote on the following: amendments to the current year's budget. This brief meeting will take place in the library starting at 6:15 pm.

You’re invited to join us for our PTA Membership Meeting NEXT Monday, November 6 @ 6:15 PM! This will be a great meeting where you can learn what your Morningside PTA is up to this year so far, PLUS we will be discussing how we plan to spend our $10,000 donation to the school!

Our Spirit days with MeLisa the Pie Lady are less than a week away! Order Nov. 1-4 and Pick up Nov. 20-22

We are so excited for the next spirit day at a local favorite, MeLisa the Pie Lady! Get prepared for Thanksgiving by ordering pies between November 1-4, and pick up at the shop November 20-22. A portion of the sales will benefit Morningside!

Next week is Red Ribbon Week! Mrs. Moore, our school counselor, wants our students to think about the daily focus goals as they learn to “Be Kind to Your Mind and Live Drug Free”. See the photo for the list of dress-up days.

Save the Date! Our Mustang Stampede with Booster is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it’s coming up soon! Kick-off is November 16, and the fun run is on December 1. Mark your calendars now!

Bubba’s 33 spirit night is this Thursday, October 12! Order dine-in or to-go and mention Morningside Elementary.

Don’t forget! Early release at 11:45 tomorrow, and no school on Monday, October 9.

Tomorrow morning is our Walk & Roll to School Day! Meet us in front of the school for some fun with The Colony High School Band, Top Cats, and cheer squad performing for our students!
