Damn, after nearly 10 years of working for the same company, I was laid off. Shit is not fun. The gamedev field is in a really rough spot right now. Really hoping im not strung out for too long.

Acquired a cool piece of arcade history today, a pcb of Deathsmiles today. Been getting more and more into the arcade hardware and software scene and really happy to have such a great shmup in my collection.

I got a new lil Lad. He's an Ackie Monitor, a lizard I've always wanted. We're still deciding on a name, but we're leaning towards Shana, or Glep. Maybe Baja Blast

Accidentally tried to rob a bank in Mexico and had a shotgun pointed at me today 😌 What I thought was an armed guard protecting the ATM turned out to be a transfer convoy and wasnt happy with me trying to enter. Hit them with a "Lo siento, soy estupido" and backed away lol

Finished up a project recently. Always wanted my own arcade cabinet, and I grew up playing gon the Vewlix at a local arcade. Got this one all snazzy :)
