We have been blown away by the children’s creativity today! Together we made play dough which led on to making chicks which led on to building chicken coops. Child led learning at it’s finest 👌🏻 @MiltonPrimary17

Day 5 Chick update… We have 3 healthy fluffy little chicks who are now big enough to start their new life on the farm. We have said our goodbyes and have loved every minute of watching them hatch 🐣@miltonprimary

In PE we re-enacted the life cycle of an egg by making different body shapes and movements 🐣 @MiltonPrimary17

We enjoyed our nature walk around school grounds this morning. We looked for signs of Summer and we were so excited to see a butterfly and bumblebee in the flowerbed 🌸🐝 #outdoorlearning @MiltonPrimary17

Reception enjoyed their first PE session tofay. We learnt about spacial awareness and practised different ways to stretch our muscles! Da Iawn 😁 @MiltonPrimary17

Our topic is ‘The Olympics’. We decided that our role play should be a training centre. This week we have been timing how many exercises we can do in one minute and recording our results on our score sheet ⭐️ @MiltonPrimary17

We made Gruffalo Crumble! We read the instructions, wrote a checklist then made this delicious desert which we enjoyed eating outside whilst listening to the Gruffalo story. It was that good we had seconds!😍 @MiltonPrimary17

For World book day the children decided they wanted to create their own books for our reading area. How amazing are these! We’ve also had random story stops throughout the day where somebody different would read to the class 📚 @MiltonPrimary17
