This is the greatest and bravest woman you will ever see in your life Dr. Amira from Gaza.
Under the siege of the hospital, in front of the snipers’ bullets, she ran forward without hesitation, pulled out the stranded patient, and saved his life.
This video will be remembered by generations to come…forever.

So essentially his officers were repeatedly and violently kicking a mentally ill man in the head when he was already incapacitated by taser.

@trishaposner In the 2025 Eurovision final, Israel won first place in the televote with 297 points and Spain got a pathetic total of 10. Ireland and Slovenia didn't even make it to the final. What's more the Spanish public gave Israel a maximum 12 points, and the Irish gave 10 points.
English

Ireland just joined the Jew-hating boycott club.
State broadcaster RTÉ refuses to even AIR Eurovision 2026 in Vienna — all because Israel is participating.
Same as Spain and Slovenia (who’ll air “Voices of Palestine” instead).
A country with a record 7 Eurovision wins would rather cancel joy, music, and culture than let Jews compete on stage.
This isn’t about Gaza. It’s pure antisemitism dressed up as “solidarity.”
They boycotted when Israel fought. They boycott when there’s a ceasefire. They just hate Jews.
Europe’s mask is fully off.

@hol40900 In what way does feeling good about your country and culture contradict feeding the needy?
English

Attacking Hannah for questioning a flag? Real patriotism is feeding 4.5 million hungry kids, not waving St George's while food bank queues grow. She's not the embarrassment – you are. #StGeorgesDay

I am still shaking from a soul-crushing Uber ride today in Dublin. It started with "Where are you from?" I said Iran, and the driver's face lit up as he thought he'd found a partner in his hate. He looked at me and said, "It must be crushing what the f***ing Israelis are doing to your country."
The moment I pushed back, the moment I told him the truth, that I support Israel and want to see the regime in Iran fall, he erupted in pure rage.
He began screaming about his uncle's high rank in the IRA, glorifying terror as a "success story" to justify the total erasure of Israel. To be trapped in a car with that level of brainwashed vitriol, being shamed and attacked for defending the Jewish people, is a burden I can't describe.
Being Iranian is so incredibly taxing. You spend your life fighting the regime that destroyed your home, only to have strangers weaponise your identity to justify their antisemitism. To my Jewish friends: I see the hate you face. I will never stop standing with you, no matter how much it costs. 🇮🇱🦁☀️

@ZackPolanski Hezbollah is firing, on average, 150 missiles at Israel every day. Why no words to condemn that.
English

Where to find the words anymore?
What to say when Israel continues to behave like this?
And no condemnation at all from the UK Government. They carry on business as usual as if Israel aren't carrying out genocides in both Gaza and Lebanon.

The "Transchild": The False Self triumphant.
D.W. Winnicott never wrote about gender. He wrote about distressed children and what happens when the adults around them offer premature certainty instead of safe space.
His concept of the False Self has been almost entirely missing from the debate on gender identity in youth, and that absence has come at a steep cost.
Winnicott observed that when love feels conditional, children learn to construct an identity that secures approval. This construction is not cynical or performed; it is experienced as utterly real because it was forged under conditions that made compliance feel necessary for survival. The False Self does not feel false, it feels real and authentic. That is exactly why it is so clinically treacherous once entrenched.
The gender affirmative model created precisely the conditions Winnicott warned against. It told distressed children that a specific identity - transgender - was their authentic core. It offered belonging and affirmation contingent on full commitment to that identity. It framed clinical caution as harm and parental concern as bigotry. These are the classic ingredients for False Self development. The model then took the resulting fervent presentation as proof that the identity was innate and required immediate medical reinforcement.
Winnicott was clear about the outcome: the underlying distress does not dissolve. When that reinforcement becomes irreversible - puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, surgery - the path back becomes far more difficult, sometimes impossible.
The evidence now aligns with this developmental understanding. Finland’s national register study of 2,083 gender-referred young people (1996–2019) found severe psychiatric morbidity rising from 45.7% before referral to 61.7% two or more years after. The gap with matched controls did not close, it widened. The same research group has shown that medical gender reassignment itself has no measurable impact on suicide risk once psychiatric history is accounted for. The “affirmation is lifesaving” claim is not supported by the data from the countries with the longest experience. The triumph of the False Self leads only to deep, unforgiving, distress and unhappiness.
None of this dismisses the reality of gender related distress in children. Winnicott took children’s suffering with profound seriousness. What he refused to do was mistake the form the distress took for its root cause. The proper clinical task is not to affirm the constructed identity but to create the conditions in which the True Self can cautiously emerge. That demands time, patience, and the tolerance of uncertainty. Factors that the transgender movement have been keen to snuff out.

"The result is I'm a 23-year old gay man who's never had an orgasm and may never experience one. Let that sink in."
Jonni Skinner tells the California legislature's judiciary committee how he was puberty blocked, dosed with estrogen and rendered anorgasmic as a minor by gender clinicians that never inquired into the source of his gender confusion as a child and instead put him on a pipeline to a lifetime of medicalization.
Full text of his comments below:
"When I was young, I was a feminine child, and I discovered trans influencers online. They said: 'Change your body and your life gets better. Don't and it gets worse.'
Or, as my doctors told my mom, I would commit suicide.
The medical and mental health providers didn't bother to ask why I felt the way I did. They poisoned my body with blockers and hormones, arresting my puberty and messing with my development. The result is I'm a 23 year old gay man who's never had an orgasm and may never experience one. Let that sink in.
I was rendered anorgasmic because once you say you could be trans, that's a full stop -- no exploration as to why is allowed, even if you are struggling.
The former president of WPATH, Dr Marcy Bowers, the California surgeon who had performed the surgery for Jazz Jennings at 17, admitted on video that puberty blockers, followed by cross sex hormones, results in no orgasms and stunted genitals. SB, 934 guarantees that more people will end up like me, the walking but wounded.
I could have been spared all of this, if any of my therapists would have explored why I felt dysphoric. But they never did. They only led me to hate my body more.
The Supreme Court just ruled in a rare bipartisan decision that laws like this are unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination. This bill is an attempted workaround that will be used to silence therapists who could have helped me avoid the irreversible harms to my body and the loss of my sexual function as is the same for many others. So today, I ask you to extend some empathy to survivors like me and vote no for this bill."

Gramsci's Dividend. Paid in Full.
@g_gosden, what this chart actually shows is the dividend of fifty years of institutional capture paying out in real time.
Reform leads among the least educated at 42 percent. Among the most educated it drops to 13 percent while Labour, the Greens and the Liberal Democrats collectively dominate. The assumption embedded in the framing of this data, and in your post, is that this reflects the superiority of educated judgment. It does not. It reflects something far more revealing about what British education has become.
The most educated in Britain are the most likely to have passed through institutions that have spent decades teaching them what to think rather than how to think. Universities that no longer tolerate ideological diversity. Humanities departments captured by a worldview in which Western civilisation is the problem, national identity is suspect, borders are violence and anyone who questions the progressive consensus is not wrong but morally deficient. The products of those institutions are not more enlightened. They are more thoroughly processed.
Meanwhile the least educated, the people the progressive establishment consistently dismisses as unsophisticated, have reached their conclusions the hard way. Through lived experience of open borders, two tier policing, parallel communities, suppressed wages, overwhelmed public services and the systematic prioritisation of every interest except theirs. They did not need a university to tell them what they can see with their own eyes.
Gramsci called it the long march through the institutions. The deliberate capture of education, media, the civil service, the judiciary and the cultural establishment to shape the assumptions of the next generation before they ever enter a polling booth. This chart is what that march looks like when it reaches the ballot box. The most educated vote for the parties that educated them. The least educated vote for the parties that represent what they actually experience.
The left calls this a problem of education. It is actually a problem of indoctrination. And the difference matters enormously.
