I'm so fascinated by the Chinatown ecosystem in Kilimani. Several casinos in the premises, restaurants with delicious food (but no business permits in sight 😅), Chinese sex workers walking in & out of the casinos, cops casually chilling inside & Kenyan workers who speak Chinese

Social media has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. I remember the anxiety before posting my first TikTok. I didn’t even know my “why” then. I was just curious enough to start. I’ve been wrong, loudly. I’ve learned, visibly. I’ve shown up, even on the hard days. Now I know this space is how I express myself and share what I’ve learned. The biggest win? Personal growth. Learning to communicate clearly, show up authentically, and own my voice. It hasn’t been easy. Criticism has forced me to question my identity beyond the title “doctor” and decide how much of myself I want to share. Still, I’d do it all over again. Looking forward to sharing more at the KMA Young Doctors Network Conference tomorrow.
