@Shithead_Deluxe mostly sunny or partial shade, about a week after a hard rain is the best time, or in spring if you're in a region with snowfall. I'm actually documenting where they live here in Florida, some species like this guy are really widespread and others are really picky and restricted

@Mossworm1 What kind of conditions do you tend to find these guys in? Shady/sunny, grassy/muddy, right after a rain, etc. I've been trying to do some macro and microscopy with local water samples but I've only managed to capture an unlimited amount of cyclopids/copepods/daphnia/flatworms
