You can say whatever you want and my replies are always trash when I criticize the team, but this is why “changing the core” that “didn’t win” despite going to the NLCS in 2024 was dumb.

@Roger774501171 This is a horrible description of Cohen’s tenure. They blew up the team and sold at the deadline in 2023. And just this past offseason they made sweeping changes to the roster and coaching staff.

For those wanting Mendoza fired , just remember who our owner is. He acts like a tough guy in angry tweets over tickets and attendance. But not once has he showed a set and made changes ASAP when it was needed. He will wait until after the season once again and it’s too late.

Lindor is a notorious slow starter. He’s also a leadoff hitter with a 340 OBP thus far.

Negatives, come at me ya hyenas 1) I really like Peralta, but he wants 8 years, get through 6 once in a while, sheesh 2) Benge is ass right now, in every facet. 3) The starting pitching is already taxing the pen and that worries me.

Final Four was flat. UConn, Illinois and Arizona all looked bad. Bad basketball. Duke would have beat Illinois and Duke has already beaten Michigan on neutral court this year. But for the lucky forty foot shot, Duke was in line to win the Natty.

Feel like many Mets fans Im seeing on here are forgetting how awful the start to the 2024 season was The club looks sloppy and they're definitely underperforming. Nothing to be happy about Split in SF and come back home .500, get an off day, and get to work. Not worried
