@JoeBiden Simple calculation: How many people are killed by criminals with semi-automatic rifles vs pistols etc, and how many law-abiding families have these rifles for home defense and recreation? This is just pandering to the far left.

I am determined to once again ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. I led that fight in 1994. For the ten years it was in place, mass shootings went down. When Republicans let it expire, mass shootings tripled. Let’s finish the job and ban assault weapons.
