Different positioning. He shifted the conversation from where he is to who he works with. That's the skill. When recruiters ask "Where are you based?" they're not asking for your GPS coordinates. They're asking - Can you work in our timezone? Can we pay you easily? Will communication be smooth? Answer those concerns, not the literal question. You're not lying. You're translating your reality into the language clients understand. The recruiter didn't care that he wasn't sitting in New York. He cared whether the work arrangement would function smoothly. It would. This is what I've been teaching... positioning beats location every time. You don't need to hide where you are. You just need to lead with what matters to them - your availability, your ability to deliver, and how easy you make their life. Sweet conversation Indeed. That's the strategy.

It simply says you are not a US tax payer but a foreign contractor 1099 is NOT issued to foreign contractors no US nexus, no ITIN, no SSN, no taxes

A job that pays $25 per hour in Georgia will pay 30 to $35 or even more in most parts of California. A nurse will earn $40 in Florida but earn 70 to $80 in most parts of California. California has lots of high paying jobs. So, what's shocking about most people earning more than $400 in a day in California?

I live in the US. I just bought fuel 30 minutes ago at a rate of $3.20 per gallon. In the US, gas is sold by the gallon, not by the liter. A gallon contains roughly 4 liters. Meanwhile, most workers in California earn more than $400 per day. This means that even if they buy 10 gallons of fuel in a day, they are still financially comfortable. The fact that most of you compare systems where the minimum wage differs so substantially speaks volumes.

Update Amebosss: So there was already a man in the bus with a very big speaker. A few minutes into the journey, this man started blasting music loudly 😭 Even my wristwatch was warning me about the noise level, but I won’t lie… I was enjoying it after a long day 😂 Next thing, one toothless lady just stood up and started shouting at him to turn it off. She even moved close to him and I thought she wanted to fight 😭 The guy just looked at her and said, “fuck off.” She replied.. “Yoh fuck off mate” you guys need to see the way she was moving close as if she was bigger than him😔, Omo, this guy stood up. Me self fear, he was so huge.. madam jsut factory reset herself and went back to her seat😭 In my head, “Ah ah… small stand chase you like this? With all that gra gra?” 😭 Before I could blink, another guy from the front came like Jet Li. “You fucking dickhead, turn off that music! Right now, you’re disturbing everyone!” Me: You and who is everyone, am I complaining🙄 Our speaker guy replied, “oh you shut up, dickhead.” The guy walked up to him and before he could say a word, our terminator(speaker man) spat on his face.. That was how the fight started. The bus driver parked at the bus stop and said everybody involved should come down… But nobody moved an inch 😭 The driver looked at them, sighed and said“fucking hell” and drove off 😭 These people continued shouting and almost throwing hands inside the moving bus. After plenty of drama, he finally turned off the speaker and everywhere became peaceful. You think it ended? 😭 One girl now started playing music on her phone… Our Terminator got triggered again: “SHE’S PLAYING MUSIC TOO!” 😭 Jet Li and Bruce Lee replied, “It’s not as loud as yours.” Omo… he turned his own back on 😭 Me: this man forefathers must be from Ekiti or ijebu cos why so stubborn 😩 The whole bus became chaotic again. I was at the bar this evening drinking and playing snooker with undercover cops/sars and I had no idea bro 😳 These men dressed normally and were acting all normal not until some guys brought out weed then these men immediately switched to COP MODE🙆🏽‍♂️ Dem bundle all of them like sardine even the manager of the bar because he was the dealer of the weed🙆🏽‍♂️ immediately the operation started not up to two minutes actual men with police uniforms and guns came in to search everyone if they would find more people but luckily for me I don’t smoke and that was how I escaped being arrested. He said how much will I drive him there? I told him my price… and the rest is history. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I don reach Iowa 😂…. I will first of all rest one night in the hotel before driving back to Houston. For the rest of this month… I go just Dey sleep for house 😂😂😂

I will not send you guys DMs; I will make it public. My family has been planning this vacation for over 9 months. We paid for our suite on the cruise for a family of 5, totaling upwards of $7,000. We are supposed to arrive at the harbor by 2 p.m., with the ship sailing at 4. We booked a super-early flight that cost a little over $1,400, and I paid $240 for extra luggage. For this vacation, my wife and I cleared our calendars, with a running cost of at least $30,000 for the whole week. Last night we tried to check in but realized the flight was overbooked, and even after checking in, we weren’t assigned seat numbers. I also paid $80 for remote parking at DFW for 6 days, just for convenience. We told my wife we had to get to the airport. Our flight was at 6:30 a.m., so we left home at 3:30 a.m. and arrived before 5 a.m. The first attendant told us there weren’t enough flight attendants, so the flight was cancelled. We spoke to another one, who said it was a weather issue in Miami. What I know is that the flight went to Miami, but because it was overbooked, they randomly cancelled some passengers. What upsets me most is that my wife warned me about this airline. Also, my son is supposed to turn 9 on Wednesday, all of that is gone. Royal Caribbean did not refund our money. My children’s spring break and my son’s birthday have been ruined just because we booked with Spirit Airlines.

If you live abroad, be mindful of the kind of conversations you have on direct phone calls. Last week in the UK, the police showed up at my Nigerian neighbour’s house with a search warrant. Apparently, they had information on phone conversations that a “gun” was arriving at the house. When the police searched everywhere, they found nothing. Eventually, the father explained that the “gun” they heard about was actually a toy gun he bought for his son’s birthday. He even showed them the toy. The police apologised and left. Imagine if the situation had been misunderstood in another way. The lesson is simple: be careful with the kind of words you use on calls or messages, especially when you live abroad where security agencies take certain things very seriously. Sometimes what sounds like a joke or casual statement can be interpreted differently. Use WhatsApp preferably as it is safe.

Last year, I noticed someone liked a few of my pictures. Then I got a message, I'd like to ask some questions. I said okay. We exchanged numbers on Instagram. we had a call on WhatsApp, he had read something online and wanted to ask questions. As we talked. He was just laughing , exclaimed I'm funny that we should have more talks. So we'd have multiple calls and discuss various topics. I saved his WhatsApp number. He was so smart. On one of our calls, I mentioned that I'd never been to the North, he says Wow, he'd like to host me whenever I was in the North. Then I noticed, that he always had luxurious cars on his whatsapp statuses from Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Aston Martin , Bentley, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, etc I then asked if he was a car enthusiast and why he always posted cars on his status. He says " I am just learning content creation with my few toys. Hmmm. TOYS??? My?? Says oh yes..that's his Family garage. We did a Video call and my Jaw wanted to drop out of the socket. An array of luxury cars, a palatial mansion. Luxury at its peak. Then it clicked ? Wait o.. Let me Google this my friend that has become my Bestie 😂😂 He was from one of the Richest Northern ruling Families. On our next call, He goes when are you coming to visit the North, let me know, you know we don't do it small. We do it Big. Let me know so I can plan and spoil you. The trip is fixed for.....
