@jackfriks i have mac air with 60hz and macbook pro wiht promotion which is 120 , when i use the studio display it feel like the promotion , so for me there is no difference , and when i use mac air i see the difference , so for me i always feel like its 120hz

apparently 60hz is less of a big deal on apple to apple setup cause the way pixels scale at 5k resolution? anyone can confirm it feels good or shit?

@GregoryMcFadden @juntawflo I always thought the Studio Display was 120 Hz. even if they say it’s 60 Hz, I clearly see the difference between my MacBook Air (60 Hz) and my MacBook Pro with ProMotion (120 Hz). But when I connect the MacBook Pro to the Studio Display, it somehow still feels like 120 Hz. 😄

@juntawflo That's funny because I'm making this post because I just bought the 120hz studio display XDR, and I'm not really noticing it

I can notice 120hz on the iPad and iPhone very easily, but on the Mac I don't seem to notice it as much. Am I the only one?

Got the new Studio Display XDR. My MacBook holder still fits perfectly, and I think it’s the best way to store your MacBook in clamshell mode.

muscles maxxxing the cost to get a body isn't $0 at all it did cost me: - 1h a day - some occasional light back/neck pain - $40/h private session with a coach - bi-monthly chiropractor check-up: $60 per session - 3 sauna/hammam per week: $25 per session - saying no to a lot of activities (evening poker, date nights, ...) -> ps: I was wrong with that one - clearly not needed I would still pay this 1000 times as what I had to pay in $$, blood, sweat compared to the benefits are inconsequential

a senior software engineer (@stevenwebdev) taught me why I'm spending too much money with cursor. I'm using a chat instance to do multiple big features. that's why the context for all my prompts is in the 6 figures tokens and I end up spending $0.20-$0.5 per completion plus, I was only using the "thinking" models which are more expensive solution: make a chat instance per feature and don't use the "thinking" models unless you're stuck
