Mountfleurie Primary School

Our last trip to @ourdynamicearth was for our P2 and P2/3 classes. They had a fantastic time learning about Marine Mysteries and going on a Deep Sea Adventure. They loved exploring the exhibition spaces and learning from the interactive displays. A great term of excursions🙌🥳

Our Primary 1s enjoyed their first proper 'big' school excursion to @ourdynamicearth. Our P1s were mesmerised by their planetarium experience 'We are Guardians' and taking part in the 'Wonderful Weather' workshops. They're already looking forward to their next excursion

P6, P6/7 and P7 had an earth shattering time at @ourdynamicearth in Mid-March 🌋🫨 They learned more about Earth Sciences with an excellent 'Quake, Rattle & Roll' workshop and in the 'Super Volcanoes' planetarium experience. Thanks for working with over 80 pupils 👧👦

Thanks to @ourdynamicearth our P3 and P4 class were able to make some intergalactic links to their class learning all about space and the solar system. Both classes really enjoyed their workshops and the 'Meet the Astronomer' talks 🌠🚀👩‍🚀

Our P5 and P4/5 classes had a fantastic time @ourdynamicearth using our School Discovery Pass for 2023-2024. All of our classes have visited in February and March. Our P5 and P4/5 had a great time at their Space and Deep Sea workshops linked to their STEM learning 🌠🌌🪼🦈

We are really excited to welcome all our school, nursery and pre-school pupils back tomorrow. We also look forward to meeting any new children joining us at Mountfleurie. Finally, we want to wish last year's P7s all the best on their first day at their respective High Schools.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS ☀️☀️ We are bringing back our pop up football for the second week of the summer holidays!! This session is FREE and all you need to do is just turn up at the park on the day and get involved! 2 hours of fun football for all primary school kids! #Footballforall

Thank you for your continued support this session. All pupils have made us so proud. We made a start this term, but are looking forward to having families in more regularly. We will see our pupils back on 17th August. The whole staff team wish you a happy and healthy summer.

Thank you to all the parents and family members who came along to our P7 Leavers Service yesterday. Our Nursery - P6 children were a fantastic audience for the rehearsal in the morning. The P7s then turned it up another level in the afternoon. #fittingend #pullingitalltogether

Yesterday we announced our house winners for Sports Day 2022. Both our P1 - P3 and our P4-P7 Sports Day points were added together to calculate this years winners...Castlefleurie 🏆🎉 Well done everyone, we were so proud of the sportsmanship and resilience that was on display 🙌
