Saturday!!! What's everybody doing? I am wanting some frozen yogurt so I'm going to make that happen today. I am going to enjoy the Saturday weather today for the most part, a few chores here and there but relaxation for the most part.

@H4ppyc4mp3r_ My BFF is diabetic and I realize that I really didn't have anything for her to eat except chicken nuggets. So she pulled the bread off of them and that's what we snacked on. No shame.

Last night my BFF came over to help me do a little doctoring to my chicken, Miss Tonka. She has bumble foot which is essentially a callus. But it forms a hard 'kernel' and becomes uncomfortable. I soaked her feet for an hour and a half before we started to work on them, and it was still way too hard to take out. So I put some polysporin on it, wrapped it up and put her in the brooder with the babies in the basement. When I went down there this morning, she didn't want to stay in there so she is out running around with little bandages on her feet. 😂 I had to get some photos of course, but I should have done a video because in perfect mom/grandma form she was rocking this chicken and humming to her. ❤️ She had no idea what she was getting into but she'll be back tonight so we can try again! Get yourself a best friend who will hold your chicken for you!
