As we mourn the loss of Murray Sinclair, the best way for all of us to honour his life and legacy is to learn from the lessons he has taught as we continue in our journey towards truth and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of The Honourable Justice Murray Sinclair. His legacy of championing human rights, justice and truth, and his work in showing us a path forward for reconciliation, will live on forever.

The agreement runs through to March 31, 2027 and featured a combined 12% wage increase over the three years, is fully retroactive to April 1, 2024, and includes improved language to right of representation, maternity/parental/adoption leave, layoff and recall language, and more!
