Does the fiber in food "count" toward your macros? Or can you subtract some or all of the fiber you eat and eat more food? (A thread.)

My dad drives for Toyota of Seattle and works with these guys in the service center. This was caught on camera Saturday when the M’s finished off that comeback. (Wait for the guy at the end 😂)

3 steps to improve your relationship with food. 1. Learn to count calories and macros. 2. Learn which relatively unprocessed and nutritious foods you like the most and can eat regularly. 3. Learn to indulge in your favorite treats (including alcohol) in moderation.

Yes. Walking works. For every 2,000 steps you take each day, your risk for premature death may fall by 8 to 11 percent, according to research published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine. jamanetwork.com/journals/jamai…

I have written a blog post that breaks down our new study on progression models, showing that increases in reps were similarly effective to increases in load over an 8-wk mesocycle. I want to highlight the final paragraph: Many roads lead to gainz💪 lookgreatnaked.com/blog/do-you-ha…

Progressing with reps is at least as effective as progressing load over an 8-week mesocycle in trained individuals. Time to reconsider guidelines for progression models? Kudos to our student @DanielPlotkin_ for leading way with a terrific thesis study! peerj.com/articles/14142/
