Just seen the amazing track (yellow) of a female Goshawk in my copy of @_BTO News, she circumnavigated East Anglia venturing into Lincs and Essex where this species is rarely documented.

Long & unusual migration by a juv Scottish Osprey. It left Brittany on 25/9 at 15:40 & flew non-stop for 2,522 km averaging 53 kph/33 mph, taking 1d 23h 30m to reach Africa. Strong easterlies in the Bay of Biscay pushed it offshore, but it recovered in the end! #ornithology
