#YouMeandTuscany is the kind of corny romance movies I miss seeing in theaters. Yes, it’s extremely derivative and flawed, but the way the film embraces its silliness and the lovable chemistry among the cast made this a delightful watch. Bring more rom coms to the theaters!

#Exit8 stretches its concept a little too far, but has enough substance and world-building that made for an entertaining watch through and through. I wish they experimented more with the filmmaking, but I was happy with what they gave me overall. Not a bad video game adaptation!

#FacesofDeath is a fresh reimagining of the original film that perfectly delves into the horrific state of social media and our attention spans. Despite some moments of derivative horror tropes, I had such a good time with this. Dacre Montgomery and Barbie Ferreira are stars.

#TheDrama is a darkly comedic look at love, empathy and morality led by two terrific performances from Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. With clever editing and fantastic tension building, this is the kind of uncomfortable humor I enjoy the most. Really really liked this one!

#PizzaMovie is the kind of absurdist comedy I adore: an unpredictable, ludicrous depiction of a drug trip gone wrong. Filled with fun, over-the-top performances and tons of silly gags, I ate up every moment. Can be corny at times, but never boring. A good time on streaming!

Feel like people are overreacting to this like crazy. Mohan is easily one of my favorite characters, but they were teasing her leaving nearly all of season 2 so far. Of course I’d love for her to stay, but with the way the show runs and what it sets up, it makes sense.

#TheSuperMarioGalaxyMovie is a solid follow-up that retains the stunning animation and vibrant world building, but doubles down on its messy and undercooked storyline. As an avid lover of the game, this gave me so much joy, even though the story lacked emotion. A good time!

#Alpha is another dense and psychedelic horror/drama from Julia Ducournau about familial trauma and love. While it can get lost in its own ambition at times, the singular filmmaking from Ducournau and crew made this a worthy and insightful watch overall. Good stuff!
