Rebuilding Brotherhood Trust Across African Borders
I have been observing with deep concern the alarming rise of xenophobic attacks in South Africa. I strongly condemn these acts. My thoughts are with all those affected—especially our Nigerian brothers and sisters, whose lives, businesses, and dignity are once again under threat. No African should feel unsafe on African soil, or anywhere else.
I commend the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs Bianca Ojukwu and her Ministry for their swift response to this issue.
I recall my visit to our compatriots during a similar crisis. It was a painful experience that revealed both the suffering and resilience of our people. It also highlighted a fundamental truth: beyond borders, we share a common identity and destiny as Africans. Such experiences should have inspired lasting solutions, not recurring tragedy.
In this regard, I urge the authorities in South Africa to act decisively - to protect lives and property, bring perpetrators to justice, and restore public confidence. Leadership must rise to the occasion, making it clear that violence and intolerance have no place in our societies. -PO

Peter Obi’s academic journey started at Christ the King College, Onitsha, before he went on to study Philosophy at the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Over the years, he continued to build himself through executive programs at institutions like Harvard Business School, London School of Economics, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, and The Wharton School.
But what really stands out is how much he values education beyond certificates. He has consistently supported schools across Nigeria with donations, infrastructure, and learning resources.

Mr. Peter Obi has already delivered.
Do you know why?
Mr. Peter Obi didn’t wait for power to serve, he became the first private citizen to execute a project in my Faculty of Agriculture during my undergraduate days at our practical farm in Sokoto where we struggled without water, he funded and delivered a borehole.
I personally supervised that project. Today, students still benefit from it.
This wasn’t an isolated act, he did the same across Kano, Sokoto, Kebbi and Kaduna quietly solving real problems that governments ignored.
This is beyond religion or tribe. It’s about leadership that invests in people, respects the North and delivers results.
2027 is coming, Nigerians must choose builders not pretenders.
Nigeria will be OK In Shaa Allah.

Peter Obi is the kind of leader who doesn’t wait for a position before doing what’s right.
We’ve seen him support schools across Nigeria, quietly investing in young people and their future. We’ve also seen his compassion go beyond our borders, standing with Haiti after the devastating 2010 Haiti earthquake.
These aren’t one-off gestures. They show a pattern of empathy and responsibility. And that’s why many of us believe that Nigeria will be OK under his leadership.
