We had a fantastic day at Severn Valley Country Park yesterday. A lovely way to complete our Rivers topic. @school_mount @SVCountryPark

We took part in an archaeological dig and found Ancient Egyptian artefacts. We then made sketches of them and made predictions about what we thought they were. Now we need to find out if our predictions were correct. @school_mount

#NationalPoetryDay2022 Yesterday we celebrated National Poetry Day by learning to recite a poem. The children did a super job of adding expression, we cannot wait to keep practising and perform our poem. The poem is ‘When Daddy Fell into the Pond’ by Alfred Noyes. @school_mount

In music, Year 4 are learning to play the recorder. They are doing brilliantly and can already play Hot Cross Buns using the notes B, A and G. What a fabulous group of musicians they are turning into ❤️🎵 @school_mount

What a brilliant first couple of weeks the children have had back in school! They have settled into Year 4 life perfectly and we are excited for the year ahead! 🌟📖🏅✂️📝
