As part of Anti-bullying Week, we have revisited our class charter to remind ourselves how we can be kind to ourselves and others @school_mount#AntiBullyingWeek
It was wonderful getting to listen to our favourite @MaryAliceEvans in our English lesson today - we absolutely loved getting our questions answered and getting some amazing writing advice as we finished off our short stories!
A massive congratulations to our amazing Year 4 singers yesterday who were absolutely amazing. Both their performance and behaviour were outstanding. They were a credit to our school and to themselves ❤️🎵#proud@school_mount
We took part in an archaeological dig and found Ancient Egyptian artefacts. We then made sketches of them and made predictions about what we thought they were. Now we need to find out if our predictions were correct. @school_mount
Year 4 are busy practicing their songs for our Easter assembly. They are sounding wonderful so far and we can’t wait to sing them in the chapel next Friday @school_mount
#NationalPoetryDay2022 Yesterday we celebrated National Poetry Day by learning to recite a poem. The children did a super job of adding expression, we cannot wait to keep practising and perform our poem. The poem is ‘When Daddy Fell into the Pond’ by Alfred Noyes. @school_mount
In music, Year 4 are learning to play the recorder. They are doing brilliantly and can already play Hot Cross Buns using the notes B, A and G. What a fabulous group of musicians they are turning into ❤️🎵 @school_mount
What a brilliant first couple of weeks the children have had back in school! They have settled into Year 4 life perfectly and we are excited for the year ahead! 🌟📖🏅✂️📝
