Agnes Jebet Ngetich becomes the first woman to break the 29min barrier in a 10km. The Kenyan clocks an incredible 28:46 in Valencia to break the world record by almost half a minute.

1hr run before work… A Highgate Club Classic. Donned by many. Stick to this Monday to Friday, top it up with a session Saturday and add in a long run Sunday. This is a great start point, especially if you are balancing alongside a job and want to be fit before ^ intensity.
