I am excited to officially share that I have just been appointed Assistant Principal of Greenspun Junior High School! 🐬 I am ready to begin the next chapter of my career serving our CCSD students in a different capacity in the Green Valley community I grew up in and that I still call home today. Thank you to all who have acted as a mentor to me including the support staff, teachers, assistant principals, and principals who have impacted my view and philosophy on educational leadership. Lastly, a special thank you to all of my students I’ve had the privilege of working with since 2016 at both Valley and Arbor. To my Class of 2024 Aggies, while I am saddened that I will not be finishing the school year with you, I hope you continue using YOUR VOICE and being empathetic. You are almost to the finish line to graduation… I know you will FINISH STRONG!

Late Assistant Principal Week at Greenspun!

CCSD Aspiring School Principals Program ✅ I am proud to say that I am now in the principal selection pool. Grateful for all the leaders who believed in me, as well as all of my colleagues I’ve worked with throughout the years who made this possible!

Congratulations to the Greenspun JV Quiz team for winning the CCSD JV Quiz virtual league championship against Garside JHS. Greenspun won 150-70. The match will be televised on May 18 on Channel 10!

Greenspun JHS Fine Arts Trip at Knott’s Berry Farm 2026!

Proud that Greenspun JHS has been designated a “Purple Star School!” This designation represents our support to our military-connected students, helping them navigate educational and social-emotional challenges, as well as keeping them on track for college and the workforce.

Teachers play a transformative role in the lives of their students, encouraging curiosity, growth, and confidence along the way. Their influence reaches well beyond the classroom, helping to shape the next generation and inspiring a lasting appreciation for learning.

Such a full-circle moment returning to my ES, Nate Mack, to read to an awesome 3rd grade class for #NevadaReadingWeek. It was especially meaningful to do this for my 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Haney, who taught me there 25 years ago in 2001 and instilled the importance of reading!

Great seeing 5th Graders from all elementary school feeders having a great time visiting Greenspun!

Grandparent’s Day! Such a fun family event at Greenspun before Thanksgiving. Definitely a special memory for our Dolphins and their grandparents.

Wrapping up @ClarkCountySch Mathematics Instructional Leadership Institute! This engaging PD series allowed me to enhance my learning on supporting high quality math instruction. Also loved participating in the instructional walks at other schools!

Grateful that Greenspun JHS was one of few middle schools invited to the “F1 Las Vegas Grad Prix Community Day!” Very inspiring that our GJHS Robotics students were able to get a special tour of the track and asked F1 crew and racers questions on the math and science behind F1!🏁

I am so proud to have brought student teachers back to GJHS and pairing them with some of our model teachers. These 4 started their journey in Jan 2025 and are about to graduate from @unlv ! Congrats on finishing the journey, and good luck on the next chapter! @ClarkCountySch

Nice full circle moment! Trustee Esparza took a chance on me at Valley HS and hired me for my first teaching job after completing my student teaching there. 9 years later, it was an honor giving her a tour of GJHS showcasing the amazing things our teachers are doing for students.

Very appreciative of this RAVE review I received today written and submitted by one of my teachers I supervise . I was mentored (and still continue to be) by so many great educators and administration in CCSD, and I hope to continue making a positive impact every single day.

GJHS Open House 2025! Standing room only in some classrooms. For as big as CCSD is, a former senior of mine from when I taught way across town at Arbor approached me and asked if I remembered her. She was with her sibling, and she is soon enlisting in the military. Great moment!
