Shortly after a hit & run of a cyclist on 73rd, I wondered why OPD seemed stymied to find suspect, given Intl > 73rd > Bancroft has a lot of Flocks. I asked for proof Flock cams were functioning during that period [10/25 to 11/10]. City responded there's 0 docs & closed request

The court’s order which you can read for yourselves speaks for itself. “the most plausible explanation is that Defendant is not credible, fabricates awesome and farfetched narratives to garner attention in the media, and fabricated the defamatory story at issue in this case to damage Plaintiff’s reputation.” (Page 14 of the order.)

During a 60 day period the LAPD got 161 license plate reader hits for stolen cars that were NOT actually stolen.
That means 161 INNOCENT car occupants had guns pulled on them w/helicopter overhead, ordered to lay on ground, handcuffed, searched and detained for 20-45 mins.

Another dimension to this, ALCO Sheriff cut LAPD out of its Flock sharing network in the aftermath of the last state-wide breach. If California's largest city, with a significant crime issue doesn't trust Flock and is cancelling it, it rewrites the story for every other town
