@danbardell I would guess youth football isn’t played in the summer to prevent matches being played on concrete pitches and allows kids to get involved in summer sports.

Can someone tell me why kids football runs alongside the general football season? Games get cancelled almost every weekend this time of year, development stunted and kids let down. They don’t need a summer break like the professionals. Baffles me.
