As reported by @TheSun, King’s trainer William Haggas has warned new affordability checks risk pushing punters towards the illegal market. Ministers promised frictionless checks, but the Gambling Commission risks delivering the exact opposite. Forcing punters to hand over bank statements isn’t frictionless.
