Duke basketball never sleeps. A lot is set to unfold over the next few weeks. One key storyline is the open assistant coaching position after Evan Bradds took the head coaching job at Belmont, his alma mater. AND if there’s one name I’ve been wanting to see on that sideline for years…. It’s Quinn Cook!! I could see it…… could you?? Who would you like to see on Coach Scheyer’s staff? 😈 @DukeMBB

I've seen a few fan-made lists floating around of players that they think are returning to Duke. I've yet to see even one that is remotely close to reality. Scheyer is hitting the portal hard. I think the bigger question is who, if anyone, will be added to the coaching staff

The three Duke decisions that will have the biggest impact on next season are Dame Sarr, Cayden Boozer, and Pat Ngongba II. Each brings something different. Sarr’s defensive versatility and flair, Boozer’s control and upside, Ngongba’s presence inside and out. How their paths unfold… will shape everything going forward.

NEWS: Saint Mary’s big man, Drew McKeever, intends to enter the transfer portal, his agent George S. Langberg of @GSLSportsGroup tells DraftExpress. The 7’3” 285 pound center led the WCC in rebounds this season and is the conference’s all-time leader in career rebound percentage. Joins Aday Mara as the only NCAA 7-footers this season with a 15.0+ AST% and 10+ dunks, showing intriguing passing flashes at his size.

Assuming Cam & Slim are gone. Senior: Foster Junior: Ngongba, Harris Sophomore: Boozer, Khamenia, Sarr Freshmen: Wilkins, Williams, Rippey, Howard, Meyer High-level portal big (or two) is going to be the biggest need, by far. Roster is currently very heavy on the perimeter.

Bill Self & Kansas did a horrible job of getting Flory Bidunga involved in the offense. He was relegated to offensive rebounding. When he did get touches, good things happened. Transfer portal may be an option to increase his draft stock. And I know programs that are interested👀
