I can’t remember where I first saw the idea, but today was the first time trying it: offer time in each staff meeting for staff to send emails to families about kids being awesome. Second step: do the same thing for another staff member. Everyone needs a reason to 😊 right now ❤️

Our school does a run club each year where we log our km and “go” somewhere. Sometimes as individual classes and sometimes as a school. This year it was across canada. Have done mountain peaks, capital cities. Need an idea for next year! #nlpslearns #think35

@MrDucklow Try the app Google Lens on any Android device. Works great! It will read aloud or also translate if needed. Free download and is really slick.

@MrDucklow Yes... there are a few avenues. One is to go from the Google translate app (which lets you scan text from photos) to a Google doc but it takes a few steps. Another measure is to get the accessible PDF version of the book from ARC-BC & use a PDF reader app

The Wild Robot Escapes by @itspeterbrown is a sweet & thoughtful follow up middle grade novel to The Wild Robot. I encourage you to read both. It prompts a lot of discussion & emits empathy & kindness with every turn of the page. This is a wonderful read! #mcdreads #sd36learn
