Ascendance of a Bookworm's shift to a new studio in the form of WIT does come with a few benefits, but also stark caveats in the form of its expeditious post-processing (a contrast from Ajia-do's conservative stance for minimalistic prod. values). It'll take some getting used to.

The anime would have top tier had it recieved the same level of quality as frieren. Unfortunately, LNs are rarely treated that well and the first 3 seasons suffered a lot. Anyways, onto Part 3: Adopted Daughter of an Arcduke

I actually manage to read part 1 and 2 of the LN before s4 starts. Its crazy that I ended up reading 7 volumes in less than a month. I already loved the anime but with the LN, it became one of my favourite series and I am kind of obsessed reading it.

Release That Witch #02 - this series is a whole vibe, instant gratification and appeal whenever framework directs its attention to politics/kingdom-building. Been a while since I've seen something like this that is so immersive in scale.

JJK S3 #08 - Yousuke Takada's 高田陽介 storyboards/direction & Kouki Fujimoto's solo KA made this one of the most strong, consistent-looking episodes to date. The cinematic language on display is exquisite, genuinely stunned. The live action chara acting/referential nods as well.

Kenji Tsuruta is a manga artist and illustrator whose sublime style carries a subtle sense of nostalgia. He is best known for Emanon and Spirit of Wonder, though I recommend all of his works. I especially love the atmosphere in Forget-me-not.

Kusanagi-sensei was really on a writing high with the Xing conflict, it's Yona at her very best, she really comes into her own as a bona fide leader in the making, on top of the raw and gritty frame by frame of tackling the atrocities of war and conflicts of interest.

Have a mixed feeling about the final act since things abrubtly ended with the arrival of Grade 0 Sealed Artifact, a lot of unamswered questions. However, the great smog did some damage (Old Kohler) and ending on an emotionless encounter with the siblings just hit hard.

We were introduced to a lot new characters. Most of them turn out to be really good and the existing ones got major spotlight, especially Audrey and Dereck. The volume went absoluetly crazy with the history of previous epochs and introduce some insane beings like Amon, 0-17.

Lord of Mysteries Volume 2: Faceless Arc

A much better volume than the first one. It was better paced with a great story structure and lore dump which was not too overwhelming to digest. A lot of action as well.
