If you think Ross Hodge is qualified to be the head coach at #WVU, you almost certainly trusted the climb for 6 years under Neal Brown.

Why dog Ross Hodge but not hold Rich Rod accountable in Year 1 for both? It has nothing to do with Rodriguez being from WV. He’s a proven winner. Hodge isn’t. Rodriguez is very qualified. Hodge was hired because he’s buddies with the AD. Bottom line. #WVU

To be clear, Ross Hodge should not be fired after one season. That would be reactionary and unfair. But it’s also fair to question the decision that put him in this position in the first place. Just like Neal Brown in 2019, the hire felt like a gamble from the start. And Mountaineer fans know exactly how that story played out. #WVU

This is the most forgettable #WVU basketball season in a long, long time. Ross Hodge is in over his head right now. There’s just not enough talent on this roster. Looking forward to seeing the talent Yusuf Ali is bringing in next season.
