I saw The Super Mario Galaxy Movie earlier this week and overall I think it was really good #thesupermariogalaxymovie SPOILERS Overall the movies animation is great the characters and backgrounds look amazing there are a lot off references to characters and species from the Super Mario Galaxy movie in the background aswell overall I think they do a great job with Mario Luigi Yoshi Peach Toad and especially Fox who is very cool in the movie though I wish they did not spoil that before the movie as he was the surprise cameo with the biggest role however my problems lie with the characterization off Bowser and Rosalina with Bowser they start the movie giving him a change of heart and wanting to be good however that is completely forgotten halfway and do nothing with that plot point Rosalina was a character I was very excited to see however I was left very disappointed she is barely in the movie and captured for most off the movie her first scene in the movie is very awesome but she is captured to the end of the movie which does not make any sense as she is the one princess in the games that does not get captured also I hate the new backstory they gave her the backstory she had in the games was way better and it just feels very forced making her Peachs sister the voice acting in the movie is very good once again I also wish they spent more time on Galaxy planets like Honey Queens planet and the Comet Observatory instead of making up places like Gateway Galaxy also why could the monkey that robbed Peach not just be the Chimp you already have a chimpanzee overall the movie is very fun especially for a massive Mario Galaxy fan 8/10
