So I was just watching a random video by @zas11s (280k subs) on YouTube about the craziness of the Pokemon hobby these days… And ya boy made an appearance along with a bunch of other 1st Edition collectors! 😂 We’re all just collecting for the love of the game. This community is wild! ❤️

Unlike big recurring names like Prof. Oak or Cynthia who show up everywhere, Mr. Fuji is that super niche Lavender Town legend straight from OG Gen 1. Old lore (especially the first movie) basically confirms he's Dr. Fuji, the scientist messing with Mew's DNA to create Mewtwo.

The original Mr. Fuji was released in the Fossil set as a "plain" Trainer card. Under early rules, these could be played multiple times per turn. Modern TCG rules evolved to categorize human characters as Supporter cards, which are limited to one per turn.
