In computing, Y1 have been learning about what makes a good photograph. They then used the iPads to take their own photographs and rated which they thought were the best @MrGSGC

A lovely end to our ATSA art sessions. We finished our collages and they are all ready for the art exhibition. @MrGSGC

Y1 have been listening to traditional Indian instruments in music today and writing about the sounds that they can hear, then they tried to match the correct sounds to the instrument @MrGSGC @missvgsgc

Another great Forest school for Year 2. They built dens, practised fire lighting and even made ziplines for teddies! @MrGSGC

Thanks to all @pennington_fc for organising and hosting the #ATSA KS1 Football Festival yesterday. Unfortunately the event had to be cut short due to the weather ☔️

KS1 had a great time during their Indian Experience afternoon! They had mehndi designs drawn on their hands, sculpted mud huts from clay, tasted some Indian fruit and made rangoli patterns! @MrGSGC

Congratulations to Bella, from St. Stephen’s who has won the ‘Design a new #ATSA logo competition’ as part of our re-brand to ‘Atherton and Tyldesley Sports and Arts’. We have already started to work with Bella and the design team to have a ‘final’ electronic version in place.
