The Kremlin is feeling the increased pressure from Ukrainian drone strikes deep inside of Russia. It can't be ruled out that Russia would strike the center of Kyiv.

I spoke to several Western embassies including most from the G7 today who all told me their diplomats are staying put in Kyiv and have no plans as of today to leave amid Russia's threat of attacking the center of Ukraine's capital. Several also confirmed they received official written warnings from Russia.

Iran's Fars News is reporting that Bahman pier was targeted.
Bahman Pier is quite important as it serves as a key logistical point for the IRGC on Qeshm island. That island is utilized by IRGC fast attack boats.

Not implausible. The Saudis sounded more hawkish in the early weeks of the war, but their position since the ceasefire has been that they don't want the fighting to resume (and most other Gulf countries are in a similar place now as well)

Thats very interesting. Some of the Gulf States is likely pushing to establish a defacto peace in the Gulf in order to restart oil shipments out of the region through the Strait of Hormuz.

This is the type of deal the Iranians have completly been opposed to but it's exactly the type of deal President Trump would be able to tout as a major international achievement for the Mid-terms & his administration.

‼️ What the US & Iran are negotiating on as per @WSJ Editorial Board : The U.S. says it needs Iran’s attestation that it doesn’t seek nuclear weapons; the dismantlement of the Fordow, Natanz & Isfahan facilities; a ban on underground nuclear work; and on-demand inspections with penalties for violations, a 20-year moratorium on Iranian nuclear enrichment & demands the handover of all enriched nuclear material. Iran would have to reopen Hormuz—gradually, as the U.S. relaxes its blockade, and then fully with the final deal. Most U.S. sanctions relief would be tied to Iran’s performance of the deal, not merely its signing, though some assets could be unfrozen to begin.

@ziadalhashimi You conveniently left out the part of WHY the UAE seized Iranian assets inside its territory. The UAE did all that in response to Iran's significant missile & drone strikes against its territory at the start of this war.

🔴 ايران ممتعضة جداً من الامارات ليس بسبب القواعد كما يدعي بيان الخارجية الايرانية، بل بتصفية المصالح الايرانية الضخمة داخل الامارات واعتقال وترحيل اشخاص كان لهم دور في تمويل وادارة مصالح ايرانية مالية وتجارية أساسية وكبيرة جداً لعمل الحرس والدولة الايرانية!
🔴 فدبي كانت الرئة الاقتصادية التي كانت تتنفس منها ايران وتخفف عبر العلاقات التجارية غير الرسمية معها من تأثيرات العقوبات الامريكية عليها!
🔴 الان وبعد تصفية تلك المصالح الايرانية ومصادرة اموالها واغلاق شركاتها واعتقال مدرائها ، أُغلق باب مهم جداً بوجه ايران مما زاد من حجم الضغوطات الاقتصادية عليها ولن تجد منفذاً جديداً آخر بحجم تجارة الامارات، يساعدها على كسر حاجز العقوبات!
