@WolfeyGlick How can you be so consistent? If it just your opponents getting anxiety and doing silly plays because they see your name? I cannot for the life of me get consistent results with any team I play and most opponents seem to click random buttons and win.

@MrHoward122 @Verliswolf If it can't exist without cheating, then it probably never deserved to exist at all. Actually we don't even know what would happen if hacking didn't exist at all.
Also cheating doesn't necessarily mean something has to be an insta-win 100% of the time.

the truth is that vgc wouldnt exist without genned pokemon and it doesnt make as big as an impact as people make it out to.

@MrHoward122 @Verliswolf Its just different since the advantage isn't immediate like an aimbot in an FPS would be. It just snowballs the longer you use it.
Then again, on another note, it doesn't really help "accessibility" when hacked pokemon soiled the trading economy.

@TTerrakion @Verliswolf i just checked, there's a plugin for pkhex that lets you view rental teams. guess thats a thing you can do
i still dont think that genning has that much of an impact on the actual game.

@MrHoward122 @Verliswolf It probably has something to do with the team rental code of his team if I had to guess. Thats the primary thing kaphotics uses if I believe.

@TTerrakion @Verliswolf Ive used pkhex before, if you want to see pokemon from a game, you have to rip the save file from the modded console. it wouldnt be hard to imagine nobody except wolfe has access to his own console, let alone the creator of pkhex. pkhex is also offline so gens arent being tracked

@MrHoward122 @Verliswolf Well he is the maker of PKHex or the maker of said thing so that would explain… pretty most of your questions there.
As for the actual data mining itself, I don’t really use PKHex and I’m assuming neither do you so… I don’t know if I can answer that part.

how do you data mine someone else's team? I can't imagine how you can get in such information of these pokemon unless you were involved with making them, as loading them on pkhex needs the savefile from the game ripped from a modded switch. genuine curiosity

But yeah, kaphotics who is one of the most prominent data-miners, got his team and it ended up being hacked.
He also got him again in the 25th anniversary invitational as well.

There are still doubters about Wolfe's PC II Moltres being hacked since I didn't go into detail at the time... let's go into detail! The issues were "bad location memory" and "bad overworld RNG correlation" -- I'll explain each issue in the following tweets.

Doesn’t help his case that he lies about them being legitimate and then never owns up to it.

@TTerrakion @Verliswolf those aren't the same, taking substances is directly affecting the activity, which isn't the case for pokemon. i get what you're trying to get across but it doesn't work like that for everything.

That doesn’t make cheating okay because it still has some skill. It’s like saying taking substances is okay in cycling because you have to know how to ride a bike.

you guys are acting like genning pokemon is the said all be all, you still have to be good at the game to win.
if you want to bring up cheating in the future, he's said before he gets help building teams from other people.

common sense doesn’t exist what you think might be “common sense” might not apply to the next person and vice versa. not everyone plays pokemon the same. you don’t need to play the games to play tcg. you don’t need to know sabrina wanted to be an actress to OKO a with raging bolt.

@Verliswolf @AzumarillGoat if genning never existed, the game wouldn't be here, do you realize how hard it is to train pokemon in those older games

@AzumarillGoat It is still an insurmountable competitive advantage vs a legit player. Also Wolfe has infinitely more resources gained from his cheating. If genning never existed he never gets any accomplishments or popularity and can't be as practiced as he is
