@braxton_mccoy I once used a pick axe to dig up so hard road in front of an IED to remove it safely. Form the infantry guys perspective, it looked like I was beating the shit out of the IED. I earned a lot of respect that day.

Common sense when it comes to explosives isn’t common. If something has blown up, or failed to blow up, you should stay as far away as possible. We did a big demo shot one time that included some white phosphorus rounds. One of them kicked out from the shot. When we drove up to it, it was split in half and literally bubbling, like hot lava. There was smoke coming off it and you could hear it smoldering. Someone walked up to it and was about to pick it up before we yelled at them. Literally reached down to get it.
