JUST IN: Brentwood Police say 'Reacher' star Alan Ritchson acted in self-defense, say no charges will be filed. The development comes as new footage appears to show Ritchson's neighbor blocking the road while he was on his motorcycle. "After reviewing available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, authorities determined that no criminal charges will be pursued," said the Brentwood Police Department. "Mr. Ritchson’s actions were found to be in self-defense." "Although a potential reckless endangerment charge was considered, Mr. Ritchson declined to pursue charges." The case has been closed.

Pretending? Kid, I've been watching Star Trek since I sat down on the couch as at 8 years old as my Dad watched TOS reruns. There isn't a single Episode of the crap produced in NuTrek that holds a candle to the worst episode of Old Trek, maybe the space slugs in Voyager. I love Trek so much that it has pained me to watch the Movies and TV created that isn't worthy of Roddenberry's vision to the tune of $1.6 billion. Starve the franchise of cash so the grifters leave. Rebirth in the future back to Roddenberry's vision.

"right wing" - this implies a minority of political opinion. Yet, this show tanked. It tanked when the primary core fans for the past 60 years were by definition "progressive" or at least not highly conservative. "Right wingers" aren't the cause for its failure. It's everybody else that didn't bother watching. The person in this thread clearly is not a Trek Fan. They are part of the extreme minority that thought this trash was good, if they even watched it. I watched it, because I'm a completionist. It was horrific. I know people all over the spectrum that hated it... because it wasn't Star Trek.

Right-wing haters killed something that was objectively amazing. Starfleet Academy had one of the best first seasons of any Trek show. Period. These anti-woke losers would’ve had a stroke at Riker rizzing up non-binary aliens in TNG. Star Trek has always been progressive.
