Remembering the great Vivian Stanshall, who died tragically on this day in 1995. Aged just 51. Part of the Bonzo Dog Band, who mean a lot to this group, he was a one off songwriter and performer who should have got wider recognition. Here's Big Grunt, his first post Bonzos group.

Buddy Holly was 22 yrs old when he died 3rd Feb 1959. Imagine being so young and producing a catalogue of songs that influenced Dylan and the Beatles.. songs which still hold up today. I had this greatest hits cassette on repeat as a 7 year old in ‘77. Bought it in a jumble sale
