Reason #1 ppl often don't 'get' why full day, full-timetable teaching is so tough: The pace. It's unrelenting. It's not 'Oh, I'll pop to the loo', 'I'll day dream, just for a minute', 'I'll just switch off for the next hour and no one will know' - they will know, you will get found out! It's intense - You must be 'on' ALL the time. That's why it's so hard to sustain, esp in the toughest contexts, because humans need a head rest. That's why extra PPA is just so, so vital and thee biggest thing that would change so many teacher lives.

Some of our year 10 students visited Citypress, a PR and social media agency, in Manchester for a day of work experience. Citypress works with some of the UK’s biggest brands, including Aldi, Coca Cola and Primark.
