What could moderate aggression on TDL for Dallas look like? Eeli Tolvanen (SEA) & Connor Murphy (CHI).
The move bumps a few players into a position more suited to their game.
Tolvanen might be the perfect fit for 53 & 96.
Bichsel & Lundkvist 3rd pair could slap.

Got asked earlier what my TDL targets are for the Stars, and it got down to two names: Mackenzie Weegar and Blake Coleman.
At first, it sounded crazy, but...
1. They could fit under the cap if retained.
2. You need to pay heavily for both.
3. All in means all in.

Karlsson has rapidly become extremely underrated. People seem to think he's become Tyson Barrie in the past two seasons when he's basically the same player he was in SJ. Karlsson at $5M-$6M for two years is absolutely an asset, and a pretty good one.

@JuroKral I like your idea, but I think they need to leave a spot for someone from cedar park. If people don’t see players graduate who are FA’s then I think future FA’s would be hesitant to sign with Dallas… and with our lack of picks, we will need some FA’s from college/ europe

I get why fans love him. They should. His postseason was dynamite. But good contracts are ideally about the future not the past. There's a massive Buyer Beware cloud hanging over him. Unless Nill is an actual wizard-I don't see how this prioritizes the blueline help Dallas needs.

I'd argue Bedkowski has the higher ceiling of otherwise high-floor defenders, but yes - who doesn't want a mobile 6'6 shutdown defender like Jacob Rombach in the mid rounds?

This is the kind of player the Dallas Stars need. Not Tanner Jeannot or Ryan Reeves. They need the next Artturi Lehkonen. Obviously, Lehkonen is a great player, but Maccelli is a prime breakout candidate.
