Teaching really is the best job in the world. I am so grateful to have memories and things like these to look back on when the days may be a little hard. So lucky to have been a part of my classes first year in school. Something I will hold with me forever. 🥹🫶🏻

1 more day with my lovely P1 class. Can’t wait for the rest before my new adventure in a new school with P3/4 after the summer. Exciting 🌈 ⭐️ 🥰

We have been learning about different Scottish artists. P1 used the work of @gilliankyle as stimulus to create these Tunnocks Teacake thistles! 🤩

I don’t really post much on here anymore but I just wanted to share a super fun and visual way to show subtraction. I seen this on Twitter (can’t remember who!) and wanted to try. This really helped my P1s see what was taken away and what was left! Numicon is so versatile 😁

I honestly think phonics is my favourite thing to teach. I love having a craft activity 🚀

Being a P1 teacher is such a special experience. Having the parents in this afternoon and seeing how excited my class were to show off all we’ve been learning. I love my job ❤️
