Day 2- students have had a good and busy second day! Starting with some mast climbing this morning, before setting sail, using the wind and sails to tack our way to Studland Bay where we will anchor for the night, learning knot tying and steering the boat along the way ⛵️⚓️

Tall Ships 2023 has begun! Mr Lomas and Miss Burns are leading the trip for the second time, sailing the English Channel. The students have had a great day so far and are looking forward to the week ahead. An amazing opportunity ⛵️☀️🌅

Excellent fixture results so far this half term for our school! My year 7 boys football team are undefeated and playing really well as a team. Great to see the year 8 boys progress to round 4 in the ESFA and the girls team also still in the competition 🎩⚽️

Year 6 open evening tonight was brilliant! Parents and guests seemed impressed which was excellent and lots of children joining in for activities. Student helpers were great as well! 🏓🚣♂️

@MrLomasPE @MissRice_PE tweeted a while back about ‘Playing Card Fitness’ with her Year 10’s. I’ve planned this for my students in KS4 and I am looking forward to delivering this in the coming weeks. When completing student voice, they seemed to be really excited about this idea☺️
