Cannot express enough how insightful @DirtyEffinHippy’s commentary and information surrounding Bungie, Destiny’s fate, and Marathon has been. I feel like we all collectively don’t listen to her enough when we should.

She was there for 2 years, got fired, and it’s been 3 years but you think she now knows anything about the studio or its internal messaging? Supposedly Bungie leadership wanted Lightfall to fail. Supposedly they were simultaneously broke and needed Sony to save them… which Sony did out of the graciousness of their hearts. Right. And she knows all of this because she was in there for every meeting. Because that’s what every corporate meeting has - the CEO, the CTO, and a Twitter monitor who’s worked there for 6 months. That tracks.
