Mr Niven’s S1 are starting their media study of Free Guy and were posed this big thinking question. Some very mature responses which will be carried throughout their work on the unit.

I've been incredibly nervous to start back at uni next week so I've spent some time today organising my study space and I'm starting to feel better.

Mr Niven’s @BookWeekScot recommendation is the book that made him love reading: The Recruit. Which teen wouldn’t want to be a spy recruited to save the world? This book has a sense of realism which makes for a truly believable, can’t-put-down read.

I loved seeing my S4’s interpretation of a monster. It’s a shame the monster in our story isn’t as fanciful.

Mr Niven’s S2 class have watched Edward Scissorhands and were challenged to create a new monster with an object which replaces a body part. Absolutely wonderful creativity shown by all.
