It's crazy to me the amount of ACSS users who still don't know what 3.0 looks like or that it's been released. I keep getting a slew of comments like, "How do I get that ACSS panel to show up? I've never seen that on any of my installs!" 😅 Months of teasers, public announcements, emails, a 3-hour unveiling, an endless list of social media posts and shares ... how does this happen? I'm not being critical – I'm legitimately miffed. How can I better reach "The People Under the Rocks?" 😅

@ANZAotearoa - I've never been a customer of ANZ (NZ) but you've been spamming to 'confirm your tax residency'. Tried replying to the sender email anz@taxresidency.anz.co.nz and the 2 others listed in the emails AEOIFormsNZ@anz.com, enquiry@anz.com and all 3 bounce. Do better.

Having used google search alternatives for over a year, I’m ok with this.

I thought I’d update my old 2015 MBP from Mojave to Big Sur. Something went wrong and now I can’t unlock the user account (encrypted) with password or recovery key 🤦‍♂️. Lucky I have backups… currently creating a USB installer now that all other options have been exhausted.

Looks like I might be upgrading to a new self hosted project management & CRM system. I think I might upgrade my 5yr old NAS as well, I guess my Christmas break is going to include a lot of tinkering.

Just updated CF7 plugin on 4 or 5 sites I manage because of a new discovered and patched security flaw. Updating plugins on a Friday night on multiple sites… what could go wrong.

Not sure if it is because I have been using Affinity Publisher for 1.5yrs and have forgotten what it was like in adobe land, but dang indesign is sluggish these days. I think indesign peaked at CS6.

@TheMapleApp - looks like maple app may have been broken by Pancake v4.13.29 - I am running macOS v10.14.4. I am thinking that development may have stopped on this app?

I’ve just been asked to add 150mb of background videos to the homepage for a new website I’m building… time to run the clips through handbrake to see how small I can get them. I don't recommend multiple background videos on a page.

Making changes to a Wordpress website where the developer has converted a static site to a WP theme… and their version of making the page content client editable is to put all of the page HMTL in a code block in Gutenberg 🤦‍♂️

Just finished a in store genius bar session to trouble shoot kernel panics on my iMac when waking from sleep. Might be a main board replacement. There never is a good time for hardware issues on a production machine, but the Apple Tech did a great job.

@Swizec Covid 19 is name for the outbreak event of the virus sars-cov-2. SARS-cov-2 is a member of the coronavirus ’family’. COVID-19 is kinda like a catchy brand name so people don’t name it after the region it started in.

@skystracloud General server management seems fine, I have WP based premium security / backup solutions set up, SSL via let’s encrypt was fast and easy. Will most likely add cloudflare to the mix as well.

I used cloudways for the first time to host a client Wordpress website using an entry level digital ocean server. Super snappy, I'm rather impressed so far. Feels faster on the WP Admin site of things than a couple of Managed Wordpress hosts I use.
