I want to make this declaration. If Peter Obi and Kwankwaso emerge as the presidential flag bearers, I will use my platform to campaign for them. And I'll vote for them. I'll not accept any penny to do this. I don't like President Tinubu. And that's that. End.

Extrajudicial Killing in Effurun The extrajudicial killing of a young Nigerian Mr. Mene Ogidi, in Effurun, Delta State, by a police officer, is not only barbaric but also a grave violation of the rule of law. Over time, human society has moved away from an era when lives could be taken without consequence. Through the evolution of civilisation, a fundamental principle has emerged: no one should be punished or deprived of life without due process and a fair determination of guilt. Such acts inflict unimaginable trauma on the bereaved family and deepen public anxiety in an already distressed society. Nigerians are already traumatised by recurring reports of brutal killings by terror organisations across the country, and incidents of this nature - especially when involving state actors - only worsen that psychological burden and erode public confidence in safety and security. In light of this, while the law must take its full course, I commend the prompt response of the police authorities so far and express confidence that they will pursue this matter to its logical conclusion. Such responsiveness is necessary to reassure the public that justice will not be compromised. I therefore urge the police and all security agencies to sustain this approach by acting with transparency and accountability. Furthermore, recruitment processes must be more rigorous, ensuring that only individuals of sound judgment and the right frame of mind are entrusted with firearms. In the final analysis, these measures can restore public trust and uphold justice - both of which are indispensable to building a new Nigeria that is possible. -PO

My younger brother was arrested for what he knew nothing about. The okada man that carried him had hard drugs in his pocket and somehow the police stopped them. They searched my brother and found nothing. Searched the okada man and found drugs. That's how they accused and arrested my younger brother of doing drugs with the okada man. Meanwhile, one of the policemen kept the drugs to himself. The policemen took them to the station and dictated for my brother the statement he should write, asking him to write that he was arrested because he was doing drugs. When my brother refused, he was threatened. They told him they'd kill him and nobody would know his whereabouts. After so many back and forth with them, they took a sum of 100k from him before setting him free. Youths are not safe. Little children are not safe. Older citizens are not safe.

3 days ago, the Nigerian Army jumped a fence to shoot and kill an innocent Nigerian youth in his room, a serving NYSC youth. They moped his blood, picked up his brain and called it accidental discharge. Yesterday, a Nigerian policeman shot and killed a restrained youth who said he was sent to pick up a package. He begged for his life. His only request was justice. All he wanted was justice, but he was murdered by those who should protect and give him justice. I am so ashamed and infuriated. The Nigerian youths have faced too much in this country. They have been through so much💔. When would enough be enough?

This is the Nigerian police officer who shot a Nigerian to death, in broad daylight - because he could. "We go off you and noboody go know" was the same exact statement a Policeman from Iyaganku Police Station, Ibadan - said to me in 2019. I was coming back from church.

Police killed his elder brother in 2022. Police killed him 4 years later in 2026. How do you even console that family? How? How do you repay that debt? How do you compensate for that loss? Institution of murderers @PoliceNG - how do you explain this?

i don’t get why you’d have to be so uncouth just to pass your point. i lost $7k to Luna then. it was a very safe bet, yes. in fact the returns in ust after staking was very decent and top 3 as at the time for me(evmos was up there too) but no matter what, you must have been a financial illiterate or a complete retard to put your whole net-worth in one coin. even people who are coin ‘maxis’ diversify their portfolio. the whole “i can make it back” mentality is what drives most crypto bros to carry out very stupid financial decision that ends up sending them back to zero.
CryptoLord NE 📊📈@CryptoDefiLord

This guy must either be a newbie or a big fool. Do you even know that Luna was second to Ethereum in TVL? Do you even know what the fuck is TVL? And what it means in crypto? Buying Luna then was a very safe bet before the collapse. The collapse took two days and with uncertainty. It might get back up or if it pumps I sell that is how you hold a coin to zero. If you don’t know anything just shut up.

My uncle has been selling potatoes in this same market for 17 years. Rain or sun, he shows up every single day. No excuses. No soft life. No shortcuts. 17 years later… he’s still struggling. But someone that made money online in 2 years will come here and call him “lazy”. I’m starting to believe hard work is a scam.
