This space is dying because "investors/buyers" and projects within it never took themselves seriously. To frank, the train is coming to a stop because the money is going away, and if we can be honest, that was the primary attractant in the first place.

(6/6) They raise millions and instead of parlaying that into a business loan from a web2 bank to actually build something, they piss it away on the most irrelevant, non-needle moving shit you can imagine. (Like buying failed web3 brands).

On the future of NFTs 🧵 (1/6) What is a "good" project? What's its function for holders? What value does it present? Truly. Even the top projects in the space (@BoredApeYC , @Azuki , @DeGodsNFT, etc.) are basically entry tickets to parties and private discords.

@LambolandNFT @kineticweb3 @waleswoosh Interest isn't coming back. NFTs popped because of COVID. People had money coming in (stimulus) and money to blow (lockdowns). If this space isn't a place to make money, people aren't interested in it. That's just the reality.

@kineticweb3 @waleswoosh yea NFT Twitter is in a weird spot rn there's way less opportunity for nft content creators now but i do think the nft creators who stay and become more skilled will have an edge when interest in nft content comes back and making nft content is fun
